June already? Where did May go? While June ran by me, I was able to plan out my music schedule. Very blessed to have a wedding DJ gig this upcoming Saturday for the Obey family. Lot's of planning with my good friend BVCKWVRDS for this weekend event, which involves a synth set of covers and a potential light show. We met yesterday and began to plan for this event! I am actually more excited to see his set of synth covers he is planning to play for his sister! Wow! He wanted to have guitars but his sound was so big and polished with Ableton as it was!
My friends from the Junos are at the Indigenous Music Summit in Toronto right now. This was an event I was hoping to attend. I am hoping to see lots of photos, videos and hear stories of their comradery adventures. I miss you guys already!
BVCKWVRDS and I began to practice some jamming for our other project TIME. Synths met Samples and sounded fantastic. It felt great to finally play with him again. I look forward to working more on this upcoming project!
For Mahihkan Music, I have 4 songs waiting to be mastered. I plan to release them soon, but honestly haven't had time. Looking forward to the pow wow trails with Dream Capture and summer camping in our RV.
